		<description>I cannot agree more with you ! However, I&#039;d say that so far we don&#039; t see much of this raw data available... it&#039;s definitely there, on our hard drives, but it still takes hordes of researchers and crazy ideas to find out what interesting uses we could do with it.

Now that storage, and data, has become a commodity, and now that we have good research papers, good technology, and hackers experimenting with making this data visible to mere mortals (ie. non-hackers ;)... we still have to &quot;cross the chasm&quot; that separates good ideas from valuable, profitable/useful business solutions.

The challenge I see is in finding specific business problems that could *systematically* be solved by data mining/visualization -- so far, we&#039;re still working on a case-per-case basis.

Anyway, that was a great article, I want more !</description>
